Montana Elliott
Montana Elliott established Workshop by M. Elliott, driven by a recognized need for handcrafted tile in the market. She champions artisan-produced goods, believing they embody human craftsmanship and our innate desire for beauty. Her mission is to enhance every project through the incorporation of artisan tile, whether it's a custom mural or unique design, transforming any space.

Beyond her foundational role at Workshop, Montana is also a Licensed Interior Designer (TBAE #12605) and the founder and principal designer of M. Elliott Studio. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and boasts over 20 years of experience in the design industry. She particularly enjoys the collaborative process between artisans and design professionals, finding satisfaction in weaving a narrative through distinctive tile designs.
When not immersed in design, Montana enjoys exploring local attractions, delving into design literature, or spending time with her husband and two young sons. She is thankful to God for his blessings and abundance, principles that guide her business practices. Her design philosophy centers on the belief that exceptional design is always found in the details. You can find more information on her interior design firm here.

She is excited to begin her journey in the design field by working locally within a close-knit community where she can make a meaningful impact.

What inspires Alexa most about interior design is the ability to create environments that are not only beautiful and functional but also rich in personal meaning. She believes that the best spaces are those that tell a story—crafted thoughtfully through collaboration, connection, and intention.

Outside of design, Alexa is passionate about nutrition, enjoys exploring the outdoors—especially hiking, inspired by her Colorado roots—and values staying active and spending quality time with friends and family.
